Deep-fried tofu with braised carrots and wasabi dressing

Ingredients

  • 300 g Silken tofu
  • 10 g Kewpie Mayo
  • 5 g Wasabi powder
  • 7 g Korean BBQ powder
  • 10 g Rice vinegar
  • Flour for breading
  • Oil for deep-frying
  • Besam for garnish

Instructions

  • Cut the tofu into large, coarse cubes, season with salt and carefully flour all sides.
  • Heat the oil in a pan and carefully deep-fry the floured tofu.
  • Cut the carrots into diamonds. Then fry in a pan with a little oil, season with salt and sprinkle with Korean BBQ powder.
  • Stir the rice vinegar and wasabi powder well. Finish the mixture with mayonnaise to taste.
  • Arrange the fried tofu and fried carrots in a serving bowl and drizzle with the dressing.
  • Sprinkle with sesame seeds
