Nasi goreng with prawns

Ingredients

  • 400 g Jasmine rice
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 Shallot diced
  • 2-3 Garlic cloves
  • 1 Tl Ginger
  • 1 TL Turmeric
  • Babi Guling
  • Fish sauce or salt
  • Oil for frying
  • 3 EL Coriander for garnishing

Instructions

  • Peel and finely chop the shallots and garlic. Heat the pan and briefly fry the shallots with the garlic cloves. Then add the rice and fry for a few minutes.
  • Add the turmeric, ginger and babi guling (amount to taste) and stir well.
  • Now make some space in the centre of the pan for the prawns. Sear them. Season with salt and mix well.
  • Make room in the centre of the pan again and now crack the eggs into the pan, stir lightly. Season with fish sauce and continue to fry until the egg has set.
  • Garnish with coriander.
