Mirin ist allgemein ein süßer Reiswein der japanischen Küche. Er wird aus Wasser, mit Kōji geimpftem Klebreis und Shōchū hergestellt. Der Alkoholgehalt von Mirin beträgt ca. 14%. In der koreanischen Küche ist er als Mirim bekannt.
