Genmaicha ist japanischer Bancha Grüntee mit geröstetem und gepopptem Vollkornreis. Er hat eine leuchtend helle Farbe und weniger Koffein als andere Grüntees. Durch den zugefügten Reis schmeckt Genmaicha herzhaft malzig und hat eine milde Röstnote. Er eignet sich gut als Alltagstee oder auch als Speisenbegleiter.
