Sennari Oochi Rice Vinegar for Sushi
This rice vinegar is meant to marinate cooked sushi rice. The vinegar already contains salt and sugar and is supplemented with mirin and kombu seaweed for umami flavour. However, it is also wonderfully suitable for making salad dressings or for pickling vegetables. It can also be easily used as a side dish for sushi rice. Simply mix approx. 3 tbsp. rice vinegar with 500 g of cooked sushi rice and enjoy while still warm.
