Wasabi Company wasabi powder
The Wasabi Company in England not only grows fresh wasabi, but also produces other products from it. Freeze-drying produces this high-quality wasabi powder, which consists of 20% real wasabi and not just 0.1% to 3% like most other powders. The rest is horseradish and oriental mustard. The powder also contains no additives as usually found in most commercial wasabi powders. The powder is simply mixed with some water to make a paste. The taste and pungency develops after 3-5 minutes and lasts for about 30 minutes. A classic with sushi, fantastic with fish and also great with meat.
