Heisei mild sweet soy sauce
This soy sauce is an amakuchi, a slightly sweeter version of the soy sauce. It is made from whole soybeans and akazake, a traditional sake from Kumamoto. The sweetness additionally comes from the special Wasabon sugar. The soy sauce has an intense umami aroma, a certain sweetness and goes perfectly with meat, such as steak, or with Japanese fondue like sukiyaki.
