This premium Ohitachi is a classic high-quality soy sauce. It is fermented for over a year in hundred years old wooden barrels. It is then bottled and not pasteurised, which allows it to fully retain its natural flavour. In 2012, this sauce even won the Minister Prize for Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries in Japan. Ohitachi soy sauce goes very well with sashimi, sushi and raw fish and meat, but of course also for all other uses such as the preparation of salads, sauces or dips.
