Green Sichuan pepper is a special rarity in our country. Like the red Sichuan pepper, it is not a true pepper and is related to the citrus plants. Due to its lemony aroma and its numbing effect on the tongue, it gives every dish a particularly exotic note and that certain kick. It goes wonderfully with poultry, vegetables, fish and seafood. Like all Sichuan peppers, it should always be used freshly ground or whole. It is also suitable for sweet dishes with exotic fruit or chocolate.
