Chipotle chilli whole
These chipotle chillies are dried and smoked versions of the red fully ripe jalapeño chillies. They have a mild, fruity and smoky aroma and go well with any BBQ. Chipotle chillies actually belong to the Mexican cuisine, but also blend wonderfully into modern Asian or any exotic cuisine. The chillies can be cooked whole, ground into a powder or soaked in warm water and then made into a paste with other ingredients. It goes well with barbecue marinades, for making mayonnaise or even salsas.
