Instructions<\/h3>
Soak the dried shiitake mushrooms in a little warm water. Sear the meat on all sides until brown. Finely chop the garlic and fry briefly with the meat. Add the cinnamon stick and star anise.<\/span><\/div><\/li>
Add the dried shiitake mushrooms with the soaking water, coarsely crushed white pepper, palm sugar, fish sauce and soya sauce to the meat. Pour in water or (chicken) stock.<\/span><\/div><\/li>
Leave everything together to simmer on a low heat for 2 to 2.5 hours until the meat is tender. In the meantime, hard-boil the eggs and mix them into the rest towards the end of the cooking time. Finally, flavour the sauce again.<\/span><\/div><\/li>
Arrange the braised pork and eggs in bowls, garnish with fresh coriander and serve with steamed jasmine rice.<\/span><\/div><\/li><\/ul><\/div><\/div>\n
