Gelegentlich beinhaltet Shichimi Togarashi statt einer der oben genannten Zutaten auch getrockneten Ingwer, Yuzu-Schale, Sichuan-Pfeffer oder Mohn.<\/p>\n<p>Aufgrund des darin enthaltenen Chilis, weist das Gew\u00fcrz nat\u00fcrlich eine gewisse Sch\u00e4rfe auf und sollte deshalb eher vorsichtig dosiert werden. Nichtsdestotrotz unterscheidet sich die Sch\u00e4rfe etwas von anderen, aus der asiatischen K\u00fcche bekannten Produkten, wie Sriracha oder Sambal Oelek. Dort wurde sie im 17. Jahrhundert n\u00e4mlich f\u00fcr Naturheilkunde und medizinische Zwecke verkauft. Bei uns wird das Gew\u00fcrz ab und an nur Togarashi genannt, doch Vorsicht, Verwechslungsgefahr! Es gibt n\u00e4mlich ein weiteres Gew\u00fcrz mit \u00e4hnlichem Namen, n\u00e4mlich das sogenannte Ichimi Togarashi.
